The MCA is committed to the spiritual, social, and intellectual empowerment of the Malankara Catholic laity. We strive to:
Preserve our unique liturgical heritage and the ideals of the Church.
Advocate for social justice, human dignity, and the protection of the marginalized.
Empower the next generation through education, career guidance, and holistic development.
Unite as a brotherhood to serve the Church and the Nation through active participation in public life and ecumenical dialogue.
The association works tirelessly for the all-round progress of the Reunion Movement and acts as special messengers of ecumenism by maintaining constant contact with other churches and organizations. We foster brotherhood and mutual understanding among Malankara Catholics while practicing and propagating the faith, liturgy, and heritage of the Church in both personal and public life. We lead family apostolate activities, promote vocations, and provide faith-based training for young couples to help them grow in areas of family life and childcare.
We formulate and implement various schemes aimed at education and employment by providing career guidance, study classes, and libraries. The association provides better facilities for the higher education of talented students and offers training to help them succeed in competitive examinations for government services, including the Civil Services. We support underprivileged students through scholarships, financial aid, and loans while encouraging members who achieve excellence at state, national, and international levels.
We carefully study bills presented in Central and State legislatures to respond appropriately to proposals raised by the government or other organizations. The association ensures justice for Dalit Christians and other marginalized groups through free legal aid and support programs. We respond strongly against social evils like exploitation, corruption, and substance abuse while taking a firm stand against ecological destruction by enlightening members on environmental issues.
The association implements essential social service projects such as food aid, medical aid, marriage assistance, housing assistance, and disaster relief. We find and implement solutions for unemployment by providing vocational, agricultural, and industrial training. Furthermore, organize seminars and specific action plans for the progress of students, youth, and women to ensure the holistic development of every member of the community.
